Synopses for "Go Green" web series
Go Green was produced for Discovery New Media in February and March of '07. Bringing together some of Southern California's leading experts in conservation, the series is being made available for cell phones, airlines and VOD's on Discovery's new eco channel, Planet Green.
- Alternative Fuels: Andrew speaks with bio-diesel expert and advocate Kent Bullard at one of Southern California's first bio-diesel stations, and talks briefly about ethanol.
- Bottled Water vs. Tap Water: Andrew does a water test on tap water and bottled water, finding that tap water is as safe or safer than certain bottled waters.
- Water Filtration Systems: Andrew discusses home water systems with green architect David Hertz, and David Hertz demonstrates and explains how commonly bought water filtration devices work.
