When filmmakers Paul Galichia and Brian Weidling set out to explore their original idea, they embarked on a two-year voyage across North America and discovered a story of humility and empowerment. 'Speak' includes interviews with a number of Toastmaster headliners, including Chris Matthews, the American news anchor, political commentator and author, who became a Toastmaster while working as a speechwriter for President Jimmy Carter. Former NBA Utah Jazz center Mark Eaton also explains why he joined a public speaking support group like Toastmasters.
